You know when you're with a group of friends and you say, "Oh we should do such and such." "Yeah, that's a good idea!" and then nothing ever happens?

Well this time we scheduled the day and made it happen! Today a group of friends all went up to the Waco Zoo aka the closest good zoo. It was a lot of fun and the weather was absolutely perfect. We don't get this perfect weather for too long, so I'm really glad we were able to enjoy it! Plus, Carlie is finally at a good age for day trips. And Garrett's going to start school in a year and a half. So I really need to be taking as many fun day trips with my kids as I can!

Carlie loved the fish. She even said, "Fish." She liked to wave hello at each of the animals.

Garrett just had a blast. He ran around the whole day and only asked to sit down once, so he did good. There is a nice play area the kids had fun with at the end of the day.

Garrett, looks like you are growing up - no more size "T" clothes for

Oh I'm so jealous you have nice weather to go out and do stuff. Snow dumped on
us last night.I'm sick of it-I must admit. I can't wait for it to get warmer.
Maybe there is a better chance of us moving to Texas than you moving to Utah...
